Each service lasts for about two hours. There are readings from the Pauline Epistles, Catholic Epistles, The Acts of The Apostles, The Lives of the Saints (Synaxarium) as well as the Psalms and Gospel reading. There is a short English sermon after which the Liturgy continues and is concluded with the Holy Communion. An Arabic sermon follows.
Faith is what makes us one
Church. Faith is the hidden element
which motivates our actions.
The Church’s rites, activities,
services and mission all comes
from this one faith. The Church
prays for the unity of faith.
Our children are the future of
the church, which is why we want
to instill in them the correct faith,
dogma, rites, and traditions of the
Coptic Orthodox faith. Our goal is
for the children to have a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ, and
for them to grow up spiritually to
become true disciples.
